Description
Pallankuli is played on a board with 2 rows and 14 columns.The columns are filled with cowry shells,seeds,or your choice.Each columns are filled with 5 shells. The starter of the game picks up a column of five shells and starts dropping the shells into the other columns in clockwise direction,and continues picking and placing it and the game is passed to the partner until she reaches a column where she finds an empty column.The partner take over and continue the game in the same manner. It is a 2 player game, popular in south India and is more commonly known as pallankuzhi, aligulimane, vamana guntalu. Shells not included |
